Signs I'd like Muslims to use when protesting

Well, it's been quite a week. I have to admit that to think that Neanderman and me have influenced the propaganda war in Denmark is quite an ego trip. I hope if we ever visit Denmark every Dane will buy us a beer!

One of the most fascinating things about this whole debacle is what it reveals about the Islamic mindset. It's almost as if a Muslim can't imagine pigs being used for any other purpose except to torment them. "Oh Sh-t! There's a photo of a pig! It just MUST be a mockery of Muhammed our holy prophet!" There's something more than self centered about this. The fact is that porcine images themselves have become dangerous. That Islamofascists around the world will probably, when they work up enough rage, now call for poor Jacques Barrot's dismemberment no matter how much he provides hard proof that he is not satirizing Mohammad in the photo, but is at a pig squealing contest. People everywhere could be in danger if they teach nursery school children that cows say "“moo"” and pigs say "“oink"”. I can see the Arab Newspaper headlines now, "“children in U.S. and Europe are taught to revile Muhammed by saying 'oink'"”. It'’s as if the existence of pigs themselves should be outlawed. Read about Piglet's dilemma in Britain regarding this bizarre Orwellian reality.

Finally, Paul Belien from the Brussel's Journal makes an interesting point in an Op/Ed entitled The Cartoon Hoax

"Denmark is being punished at the instigation of radical imams because twelve cartoonists have depicted Muhammad. However, these imams created their own three Muhammad images. They have even presented a French clown as being Muhammad. Because the twelve JP cartoonists are not Muslims, the Muslim blasphemy laws do not apply to them. But these laws do apply to the imams. Consequently, these imams deserve death. They, and no-one else depicted the prophet as a pig,– the highest imaginable insult in Islam."

Consequently, angry, protesting Muslims who have a bone to pick (or a head to slice) perhaps should choose one of the signs below. I won't even charge a licensing fee.

and of course . . .
